Want to learn something new every day?

Modular Management is a consulting firm that works with international companies to create and deploy market-driven product platforms. In this role you’ll influence top management at some of the greatest companies in the world.

There’s growing market demand –  in industries as varied as home appliances, robotics, telecom and construction – for modular product architectures that connect mechanics, electronics and software. So we’re now looking for an enthusiastic individual to strengthen our team.

In this role you’ll work together with colleagues and clients to structure and design software. You understand system requirements, hardware interaction and networks, and you’re interested in development processes and methods to improve reusability, scalability and performance.

You’ll be working together in a team of Modular Management consultants and customers. If you enjoy working with top colleagues in a global setting, we can offer great development opportunities. The position is based at our head office in central Stockholm, Sweden, and involves travelling on a regular basis. When not travelling you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own time.

Company Culture?

“We help each other to solve things together. Even the most experienced consultants do the same kind of tasks as new employees,” says Malin Ekerå. “I also appreciate the fact that in a small consulting firm you get insight into all aspects of the business and can work on many different projects. Staff turnover is low, the company prioritizes work-life balance and you get to learn something new every day.”

Skills and Experience?

You probably have a few years’ experience of software architectures, system testing and hardware engineering. For example, you may work in a product company that handles hardware and software, or a consulting firm that supports companies with software architecture.

You’re curious about end-user requirements and understand the importance of respecting defined interfaces and demands for reusability. To thrive in this role, you like to see the big picture and the challenge of finding the best solution for clients. You also like to take a structured approach to software and system architecting.

You probably have a Master of Science degree, or have acquired the equivalent knowledge. You enjoy building relations with colleagues and clients, since we strongly believe that success comes from working in teams. Proficiency in English is required and experience of project management is a merit.
