STOCKHOLM, Sweden – June 3, 2024 – Modular Management, the global leader in Product Architecture and Configuration Lifecycle Management, announced today that Håkan Samuelsson, former CEO at Volvo Cars, joined the Board of Directors at Modular Management.

Håkan Samuelsson's extensive industry experience includes executive positions at Volvo Cars, Polestar, MAN, Scania, etc. He is most recognized for his transformative and visionary leadership, acting as President and CEO of Volvo Cars, where he implemented major strategies focusing on modularity and product configuration, significantly influencing the company's leadership and success.

Under Samuelsson's leadership, Volvo also embraced the concept of product modularity. This approach was embodied in the development and implementation of Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) and Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platforms.
