STORY

"I like to to dig into the unknown and find out what I don’t know."

My name is Esmaeil and I studied Production Engineering & Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Before that, I had nine years of experience in shipbuilding and the oil and gas industry.

What drives me personally is to provide good opportunities for my children. At work, I like to dig into the unknown and find out what I don’t know. Not knowing something doesn’t stop me, instead, it’s like I’m on a constant search to find something new. That’s a good professional driver to work here because you face challenges on a daily basis.

There’s not much routine. Everyday you learn and have to solve something new, and day by day you pile up experience and knowledge. This really isn’t like a more routine job, where you pretty much head in one direction. Here you have the opportunity to experience many new things and find new ways to move ahead.

The most interesting thing about modularity for me is that you can separate whichever product you have, whether it’s a service, software or physical product, into smaller modules and still maintain a holistic view over the whole assortment in a very effective way. This is special.
