MY SHORT STORY
"This is my motivation: to help make Japanese companies more efficient and at the same time be able to have a good life."
As you know, Japanese companies had their glory days in the late 1980’s. We had high GDP and established our reputation as a high-tech country. It’s believed that the Japanese style of working (hard work, long overtime and effective processes) enabled this amazing growth. And my father is one of the engineers who built modern Japan.
We’re still working hard but our GDP is now dropping. Doesn’t hard work affect growth anymore?
There’s a term called Karoushi, which means passing away due to too much hard work. Does hard work have to negatively affect the joy of living?
This is my motivation: to help make Japanese companies more efficient and at the same time be able to have a good life. And I believe modularity is part of the solution. In Japan, we have great technology. And with the Modular Management consultancy and technology offering, we know how to be more effective.
